We're supposed to be hoping for change we can believe in, if I understand correctly.

Seriously, I think we're supposed to be hoping that pretty words and fancy turns of phrase will prove to hold real meaning, and that our government will serve us well.

(And I am hoping that I can replace this particular entry with a new one before we have to start talking about Joe Biden's ass.)

A serious question, too: For what, exactly, am I supposed to be hoping?

My female friends think that Hopey McChangeyPants has a nice ass. Perhaps there should be some sort of vote taken.

Jen

(1) All but one of your 12 readers are male; (2) none of them want to hear ANYTHING about your new boyfriend's ass. Ergo (3) DON'T WRITE ABOUT IT.

Oh you,

I knew you only liked me for my diction. (That's fine, because I only like you because you have a nice ass.)

J

P.S. And you're also taller than Anderson Cooper.

Anderson Cooper???
I wanted to do further field testing on the rhetorical effectiveness of boldface followed by multiple question marks on Ivy League Libertarians, but my work computer won't let me boldface.
You have far better diction than Salma Hayek. I'm just saying--no need to worry there.

Hopey McChangeyPants??? Is there something wrong with hope in a country where hope has been battered by cynical and manipulative men for eight long years? Is there something wrong with change in a country where almost every imaginable abuse of power has been perpetrated by those same elected officials for that same long time?

No.

To quote Gerald Ford -- a Republican -- "this long national nightmare is over."

GO OBAMA!

GO ETHE!
